LB strengthens its presence in the Chinese market
The Easy Color System was launched remotely at Belite Ceramics while LBXTRA technology was well received at Uniceramics Expo in July.
LB enjoyed successful participation in Uniceramics Expo, the ceramic machinery exhibition held in Foshan, China in July and the first trade fair to take place following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
One of the leading international brands present at the show alongside the numerous local exhibitors, LB presented its LBXTRA kits for creating aesthetic effects in full-body through-vein ceramic tiles and the Flaketech kit. Local producers showed keen interest in the possibility of producing through-vein slabs and large surfaces, allowing LB to negotiate a number of new contracts.
LB has had a presence in the Chinese market for a number of years. Last spring, the Italian company overcame the ban on international travel for technical staff by carrying out the first remote start-up of the Easy Color System technology at the factory of Chinese manufacturer Belite Ceramics. This important goal was achieved thanks to the efforts of its team and that of LB India, who instructed local staff on installation and start-up procedures through video calls, chats and email.
